{this moment} - and the weekly {Smile-Up}

. . . . . . . . . .
"There are no ordinary moments." ~Way of the Peaceful Warrior

{this moment} - a Friday ritual. A photo (or few) capturing moments from the week. Simple, special, extraordinary moments. Moments I want to pause, savor and remember.
Served up with the weekly {Smile-Up} - gratitude practices to love and appreciate your life.

If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' and 'smile up' in the comments for all to find and see.

{Smile Up}:

Every time the Sun comes out to play I go lie in it!! (we've been having sooo much rain and cold weather!)
Getting cozy for Fall
Lots of Drawing on my Cintiq, and sketching and writing Everwake
Mornings Drawing with kitty cuddles and smoothies. Best ever!

When the sun heats up our sunroom… ah heaven!
Hearing from people you haven't seen or heard from in forever!
Harvesting lots of food from the Garden, and clearing out garden beds before it gets even colder.

Loving: My Cintiq • Writing • Drawing • Garden Harvesting • Grounding feet in the grass • Pink Hair • Music •  Yoga • Lazy Mornings •

Interests for the week:
Reading: mmmm, lots of articles and random tidbits but no books this week (cept I am stilllll on Neverwhere!! Whyyyyy is it taking me so long to finish this book?! It's soooo good!!)
✯  Current Anime shows: Guilty Crown! Adding Escaflowne (along with D. Gray Man last week) to the "Abridged" series on youtube… heehee, so much laughing!
✯  TV: How I met Your Mother. Sons of Anarchy. SNL.
Music Playlist: The Birthday Massacre. Poets of the Fall. Evanescence. Hollywood Undead. Dream Theater (Octavarium). Seether. Chevelle. Killswitch Engage.
Food Faves: Raw Chocolate Protein Bars Buckwheat Oatmeal Tofu Scramble Avocado Pudding Squash and root veggie, Garlic Roast  ♥

Lessons of the week:
Trying to Love and Respect my mental state and body! Learning not to feel guilty for needing/wanting space. Personal growth and space are important! It's hard being in relationships when you are dealing with your own stuff as well as another persons. It's also nice to have someone there. Tricky things! Respect!!! Still a hard lesson to learn, to say no, to say yes, to give yourself space, to speak your mind, to not feel guilty for your own personal needs. Getting outside, grounding your feet to the earth, are soooo good for you! Do it as often as you can before the snow comes! Positive Affirmations should be a part of your daily practice! Makes time for them! ☀

Hope you're all having a beautiful wonderful blissful week! Get out in the sun every chance you get! We've had so much rain and cloud and it's been really rather dismal out, so make the most of it and make the most of the sunny days! Happy Fall!!! ;)
What are you grateful for this week? :)

Tell me about your lovely weeks! Tell me about your 'Smile Up' and 'this moment!' :) Pretty please!

  1. I was walking around bare foot yesterday as it was such a gorgeous sunny day! I have a cold right now and maybe shouldn't of been as I'm sick but it really felt good and lifted my spirits.
I had no idea Cory was taking that course, sweet!

I'm super grateful for our chickens and garden veggies! Watching Aerilaya at her dance class.. also at her half day day care, so nice to see her play and interact with other kids. Organizing Makaia's 1st Birthday (only 2 weeks away!).. fall family walks, air drying mint, sage and lemon balm for winter tea.

That cintiq looks awesome. Super glad your able to do your story artwork with it. I'd LOVE to read it sometime. I actually do make the time for reading, I usually go through 1-3 novels a month :)
